Wins VegNews Magazine Best New Vegan Product at Expo West 2013

BOULDER, CO (March 15, 2013) Jennifer Lane has crafted a chocolate sauce so delicious it was chosen Best New Vegan Product at Expo West, the nation’s largest natural products trade show, which drew a record 63,000 attendees. Lane owns Jen’s Zen, a Louisville, Colorado-based manufacturer of decadent dessert toppings. The editors of VegNews, America’s premier vegan lifestyle magazine, visited more than 2,500 booths, sampled thousands of products, and whittled their Best of Show selections down to just 12 award-winning companies.

Jen’s Zen Chocolate Sauce is a classically rich fudge sauce which is dairy and gluten-free and is based on Lane’s family recipe which uses coconut milk as a delicious base. Lane’s recipe was one of many she created so she and her kids could enjoy rich foods despite their milk intolerance. Lane began selling her first product, Jen’s Zen Chocolate Sauce, directly to retailers with encouragement from family and friends in 2011. Today, Jen’s Zen is available in more than 40 retail stores and online sales make it available nationally.
